Two weeks ago I worked my socks off, drawing live at Hard Rock Calling; the Hard Rock Cafe's 3 day music event , held in Hyde Park. This year it was also HRC's 40th anniversary, so there was lots going on. The headliners this year, were; on Fri 24th: The Killers. Sat 25th: Bon Jovi, and Sun26th: Rod Stewart. There were other great bands on prior to these performances, so my work was cut out, from when I started at lunchtime..till the end of the evening. The highlights..(not musical but nevertheless..great ..) coming face to face with Prince Harry, who kissed me on both cheeks and remembered me from last year!) , and meeting Mike and the Mechanics, who loved my drawing. Ronnie Wood, whom I drew with Rod Stewart, was very gracious and the photo on the left taken after he too, gave me kisses!
